the hotel location worked, i could get to universal without much trouble.
The noise was bad, coming right off the street. I should have asked for a room away from that. also, the beautiful room wasn't worth paying extra. They told me all beautiful rooms face the street, and the staff were not accommodating when i asked to change rooms. i found their attitude quite frustrating.

I liked the free shuttle service to the parks. it made getting around really easy. the ipad in the room was also a cool feature. I used it to order extra towels quickly. it simplified some basic requests.
the street noise was noticeable! even on a higher floor! it made sleeping a little difficult.

Good Hotel, Road Noise Can Be Heard

Location is useful for Universal parks, a shuttle runs frequently. I found staff to be helpful. The pool seemed nice. Dining was good, especially for families needing gluten-free options. A Starbucks is located right in the hotel.
Road noise could be heard. Windows are not soundproofed well enough. I stayed on the tenth floor. The noise from the highway was noticable.

Acceptable but Underwhelming Stay

The room's soundproofing was not good I could hear traffic clearly from the highway even on a high floor. The shower design allowed water to spray onto the floor it needed a proper glass door. The lack of staffing at Urban Pantry was noticeable tables were not cleaned and food took too long to prepare. I felt disappointed overall I expected a better experience.

I really enjoyed the convenience this hotel offered for visiting the parks. the free shuttle service to the parks was so efficient. the room had great amenities, including a modern ipad to control the lights (it was really cool!). i also appreciated the early park admission. It helped beat the crowds.
the urban pantry got quite crowded during peak hours. it made finding a table difficult. the lines for food were also long.
